Tried the beef pie and the crust was crispy, flaky and light. The fillings was generous with chunks of beef and vegetables that was so full of flavour and texture. The gravy oozes out when you take a bite. It was like a party in the mouth! A definite must try.
This is a rather late review. 5-stars alone just for the food. Some of the best pies I've had and I've tried almost every flavour. Taste was rich and just delicious. Sells out quite fast so be prepared to be disappointed if you go there late. Even the wife who is so totally anti-pies (and ang moh food in general) loves them, and she is an extremely fussy eater, all my colleagues will know... Now, if you add in the service factor, I would give more than 5-stars if I could. Please correct me if I'm wrong, the person who replies to the messages is Brenda? Wonderful customer service here. I bought 3 vouchers and only exchanged 2 the last round because their gyuniku large ones were sold out. Left them in the bag and forgot about the expiry date. Wrote in to request for a grace and she was so kind to allow it, even though it was completely my own fault for not keeping track of the expiry. This is really service from the heart. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great tasting pies!
Love the Japanese Curry Chicken pie. It is full of fillings and even have some melted cheese! Very nice! The teriyaki is not bad too. But the curry beef compare to curry chicken is less tasty (my own preference).
